After breakfast, with packed lunch in the vehicle, drive for 1 hour to Materuni village for hiking and cultural tour, Materuni village is said to be the last village before reaching Kilimanjaro national park. Located on the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, just 15-20km away from Moshi town. The tour starts with 40minutes to 1 hour hiking to the water fall, Trekking trail is surrounded by banana farms, corn farms, coffee farms and houses of residents. It is possible to find women with grasses on their head for feeding cattle because they practice zero grazing while you may find men chilling in bars drinking local brew.
then ended up with a coffee tour. Coffee is amazing, prepared with clients and team of local guides from pounding to remove outer shells, roasting, making powder and boiling ready for drink, while singing and dancing local and Kilimanjaro songs.
