Pick you up from the hotel in the morning in 4x4 safari jeep and drive for 7 hours to Selous game reserve currently known as Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival at Mtemere gate, your driver will go for gate clearance whereas you will get a chance to use washrooms before heading to the camp for lunch. In the afternoon after fleshing up
After gate clearance, check in the park and start game drive. Selous game reserve is one of the largest savannah wildernesses in Africa. Covering the total area of more than 50,000 square kilometer, this legendary park act as the animal kingdom of southern Tanzania. The park is the home of endangered African hunting dogs and has the highest number of crocodiles and hippos. One of the major features of the park is the River Rufiji which cut across the park.

Wake up in the morning, take your breakfast, and go for safari until 1600hrs. During lunch break, your driver – guide will take you to a picnic area inside the park. After lunch proceed with game drive until 1600hrs, then drive back to the hotel for 3 minutes break. After a short break your driver will escort you to the bank of Rufiji River for boat cruise, its just a walking distance from the hotel. Start your cruising along the river Rufiji; while cruising you will be able to see animals such as hippos and crocodiles. After an hour of cruising and enjoying the spectacular sceneries of Sunset, you will be heading back to the river bank/shore and go back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
